This year, avency GmbH once again invited attendees to the annual Security Day. Over 50 participants responded to the invitation at the Münster Harbor. In the unique atmosphere of Hafenkäserei Münster, representatives from industry, education, and public administration came together to learn about developments in the field of IT security.
Particularly, the handling of shadow IT and the enhancement of clarity in one's own networks were the defining topics. At the same time, the increasing relevance of awareness training and data security was addressed. With the presence of avency's partners, the most pressing questions could be discussed directly with the manufacturers.

The combination of an inspiring location where one can directly engage with renowned manufacturers makes this event so valuable for all participants. After presentations and insights from manufacturers Skyhigh Security, Forcepoint, Tanium, and KnowBe4, the Hafenkäserei delighted attendees with a beer and cheese tasting. The view into the cheese factory as well as to the Münster Creative Harbor makes the location particularly attractive and will certainly remain in the memory of all participants for a long time.

Only where requirements meet solutions and experiences meet anticipation can we confidently confront the digital threats of the future. The annual IT-Security Day provides a platform to set the course for secure IT—both on a small and large scale.
