Omnipresent for almost five years now, Justine Roth lends herself to the Q&A game for the very first edition of Sequonews. The young woman offers us an interview full of humor and professionalism.
Could you explain your mission at dbi and choose three words that characterize them?
So, to put it simply, I am a Senior Admin & HR Office. I am also Accounting Assistant in a team of 6 people. I'm lucky enough to have a job where I don't have any routine tasks. So, the first thing that comes to mind is versatility. Of course, when you work in administration, you are in contact with many people, both internally and externally. Relational is the second word that comes to mind. Then later, and my colleagues will no doubt confirm this, rigor is a word that fits well with our functions.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Breaks (laughs) no, I'm kidding, don't write that. On a more serious note, I enjoy organizing the dbi xchanges. Although they are a challenge because we try to ensure that colleagues are in the best possible mood, being successful in bringing together so many peoples is an absolute satisfaction.
If you had to give one piece of advice to new collaborators?
Come as you are without playing a role. Regardless of the job or function, it is essential to be yourself to be fulfilled.

What is your best meeting anecdote?
As a basic principle, what happens at dbi stays at dbi, but I am going to play by the book (laughs). Is it possible to describe this anecdote with a photo?
If you could put yourself in a colleague's shoes for a day, who would it be?
It would be interesting to spend a day in Gerard Wisson's shoes as Head of Delivery. I would be curious to see his job's organization and responsibilities.
If you had an Aladdin lamp, what wishes would you make?
Good question. Let me think... I would probably go to a desert island and take with me Prestige my horse, and eventually Mojito, my cat. (laugh)
What is your favorite Film or Series?
The Lion King, without hesitation. For the little anecdote, we are a sibling group of three, and we had the brilliant idea of giving ourselves nicknames from the film. Timon, Pumba, and Simba. I inherited Timon because it seems that I have a bit of a bossy side, according to my siblings (laughs)
If you had to choose a mentor, who would it be?
Simone Veil because she's an emblematic figure in the fight for women's rights.
Could you tell us few words about your passions?
I've been riding for 25... well, almost 26 years now (laughs). I first sat on a horse when I was three years old. It's a real passion for me, and I'm lucky enough to be able to ride competitively. I was and still am fascinated by the intensity of the bond you can create with the horse. It is an osmosis feeling.
What do you think about Sequotech ?
It's an ambitious project, we are only at the beginning, but we see things in a big way. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.
