Can you generally explain your role, your missions and choose 3 words that describe them?
As a system engineer, my main role is to provide technical support for various tasks. A significant part of my job involves developing and implementing system migrations for our clients. This means I am responsible for planning and executing the transition of their existing IT systems to new environments or platforms. Additionally, I play a key role in supporting our teams by providing them with the necessary information and explanations to aid their development and progress in ongoing projects. My work is essential to ensure that our clients' systems are up-to-date, secure, and functioning efficiently, while also helping our internal teams advance their skills and technical knowledge. The three words that best characterize my role are:
- Diverse: My work covers a wide range of tasks, from technical support to managing complex projects like system migrations. This diversity makes my daily routine varied and interesting.
- Under pressure: Working under time constraints is a constant reality in my profession. Whether it's meeting client project deadlines or quickly responding to urgent support needs, the ability to manage time effectively is crucial.
- Surprising: The field of technology is constantly evolving, and each day can bring its own surprises and new challenges. This requires a quick adaptability and ongoing technological vigilance to stay at the forefront of my field.
What do you like most about your job?
What I appreciate most in my role at Exxo is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn something new every day. In three years, I've found that each day brings something new, which makes my job stimulating. I particularly enjoy the regular progression of my skills, and the opportunity to learn both through my own experiences and by sharing knowledge with my colleagues.
If you had to give advice to new hires, what would it be?
When you're not 100% sure you have the solution, keep looking. Adopt a "Try It till You Make It" mentality. Never Give Up. Be eager to learn everything, dive into new subjects, and give your best.

What's your best meeting anecdote?
My best meeting anecdote? During a discussion on a project, I suddenly asked, 'Where is my change request?'. It turned out that changes had been made without anyone being informed. This unexpected situation made everyone smile and became a little joke in our team, highlighting the importance of clear communication in our work.
If you could put yourself in a colleague's shoes for a day, who would it be?
I am truly passionate about my current job, but if I had the chance to step into the shoes of a colleague for a day, I would choose the role of the Commander, a former function within our team. This role would allow me to experience managing first-level problems, which is crucial for understanding the immediate challenges our clients face. Moreover, it would give me the opportunity to meet many new clients, thus broadening my perspective on our business and the various expectations of clients.
Could you tell us few words about your passions?
My main passions are cars and video games. I've always been fascinated by the world of automobiles, both for the technology and performance as well as the aesthetics of cars. On the other hand, video games offer me a world of escape and challenges, where I can explore different worlds, develop strategies, and test my reflexes.
If you had an Aladdin lamp, what wishes would you make?
If I had an Aladdin's lamp, my wishes would be as follows: first, to have a Porsche GT3 RS as a company car, to combine driving pleasure and professional elegance. (laughs) Then, I would wish for more good weather, to make the most of the days, both at work and outside. Finally, I would want more opportunities to travel around the world, to discover new cultures and broaden my horizons.
Do you have a book to recommend?
If I had to recommend a book, it would undoubtedly be 'The Lord of the Rings' by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's an epic and timeless work that offers much more than a simple fantasy adventure. It immerses us in a richly detailed world, populated with fascinating characters, and traversed by universal themes like friendship, courage, and the fight against adversity.
If you had to choose a mentor, who would it be?
If I had the opportunity to choose a mentor, I would choose a fictional character: Tony Stark. As a brilliant engineer and innovator, he embodies an ideal fusion of technical genius, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to overcome challenges. Stark represents not only excellence in the field of technology and engineering but is also an example of resilience and creativity in the face of obstacles.

I perceive Sequotech as a captivating mystery, knowing that we are at the beginning, but I am enthusiastic about the opportunities it could offer to Exxo and us, the engineers, in the future.
